About Anchor
Inspired by monumental structures and stacked construction materials, the works carry a quiet tension. Curved strips gather within architectural boundaries, compressing and opening to create passages of shadow and light. Each element is deliberately placed, yet the accumulated form remains unpredictable.
From a distance, the sculptures appear still and grounded. Moving closer reveals shifting rhythms, fragile edges and spaces within the apparent mass. Their stillness holds the possibility of movement.
Through this language, Anchor considers the human impulse to build: to arrange matter, establish order and find a place within a world already taking shape.
