Embrace Change: From Flux to Stability, Bloom with Every Turn.
This design, named THE BLOOM, is a versatile device that can be reassembled into two distinct forms.
The first form draws inspiration from a Roly-poly toy and traditional Chinese machinery, embodying a dynamic, unstable quality. The second form is designed to be stable, underscoring a sense of permanence and reliability. This design highlights the transformation between instability and stability, showcasing different qualities even though the object remains the same.
I created this ritual tool to enable individuals to explore and express the dual nature of their experiences and environments, facilitating a deeper understanding of their personal transformations.
